COUP FATALE. feeds off the gruesome nature of the horror film genre, drawing on the carnage, wounds and fatalities as a source for garment manipulation. Cut away sections, slashed structures, sheer fabrics and anatomical print panels build on this reference to the violation of the body, playing with notions of vulnerability, exposure and the abject.
